Dec 21, 2010 at 10:56 pm #46368Bryan Gregson MemberI have an iphone (AT&T)works great in Denver, SLC, pretty slick if you ask me.. but very little service, if any, in Idaho, Montana, Northern Utah & Wyoming… basically everywhere I am for the majority of the year 🙂 Debating on paying my ‘dissatisfied fine” and going back to Verizon. Dec 21, 2010 at 11:29 pm #46373jarrod white MemberI use Blackberry and travel the world. I have been very satisfied and Blackberry Messenger is an instant message service that is basically free anywhere. Dec 22, 2010 at 12:29 am #46374Buzz Bryson MemberJust got a Droid 2 Global. Had a Blackberry Storm. Stayed with Verizon because of better coverage (my opinion) where I seem to be. Droid, being newer, has faster processor, more features, etc. Selling point to me (in addition to being global phone and faster) was choice of (larger!) keyboards, apps, (OK, and good sales pitch). Like it. GPS (“Maps”) is good, and low-priced app BackCountry Navigator has good topos. Expect I’ll find flaws, but so far, it’s fine. Not the price of the phones themselves. I’m meaning the extra monthly charges that go along with smartphones. I have Verizon as my carrier and they want an extra 30 bucks per month per phone. We have 4 phones in our family. $120/month extra is ridiculous. Greg Dec 22, 2010 at 2:25 am #46376anonymous MemberThe company ties me to an HTC Ozone. Dec 22, 2010 at 2:39 am #46377keith b MemberI have been on the band wagon for several years, since ATT came out with their first internet capable full key board phone (name escapes me at the moment). Dec 22, 2010 at 2:56 am #46378jeff s MemberI use verizon and have a Casio GiZone phone which is waterproof and dust proof “mil-spec” phone. Dec 22, 2010 at 2:37 pm #46379Adam McDowell MemberI have a droid 2 and its a very useful tool. Extremely fast and useful. My father has an Iphone 4G and I really do not see an advantage to it over my droid. I had a blackberry curve before that and when I got it 2 years ago it was a great phone for the time. I think that the blackberry platform does not compare to the droid that i have now. I did a lot of battery removal restarts with my blackberry and it would often jump on speaker phone with none of the buttons working in the middle of calls. The good thing is that they were always willing to help me customer service wise, if you don’t mind spending half of an afternoon at the phone store. Dec 26, 2010 at 2:01 am #46380Rick Neilson Memberwhat’s a phone booth?? Dec 26, 2010 at 3:25 am #46381Grant Wright Memberiphone…dominant. Dec 26, 2010 at 2:16 pm #46382 Michael PhillippeMember Michael PhillippeMemberI retired my two Blackberry’s when I retired this past summer. And, I switched to Verizon because AT&T for some reason doesn’t have coverage on the upper Delaware River or much of Montana. I will probably go with the iPhone when Verizon finally gets it.
