    I’m a big fan of the Orvis Battenkill Mid Arbor reels for a nice moderately priced all porpose reel.  Orvis has them on sale right now if anyone is looking.  The reel is about $30 off retail, plus they throw in a Wonderline for free.  I just bought a BMA II for $99 including a Wonderline Trout line.  This is for a 3wt I’m building for my brother in law.

    I’ll second that.  Those are great trout reels, and that’s a really good price price, especially with the free fly line.

    I do like fishing the Battenkill Mid Arbor reels from Orvis.
