    Craig, I’m a strong advocate of your method of ‘twisting’ my own leaders.  I’ve fished them in Alaska for silvers, and other species and would never be caught on any of my local Idaho waters without one.  No jig, no formulas, just practical, easy-to-construct and very effective leaders.

    After about a hundred, you’ll be able to crank one out in about 3 minutes if you don’t have anything grabbing at the tails.
