I particularly like the Spey casting shots with the line ripping free of the water. Some of the most beautiful fly casting there is–reminds me of snowboard shots. Zach Jul 31, 2013 at 8:10 am #74570 Stu HastieMember Stu HastieMemberThanks Zach. I won the 2012 Gink and Gas photo comp with that one 🙂 Aug 3, 2013 at 1:35 am #74608Jeremy Clark MemberI’ll play. Not really sure why, after seeing Jay’s submissions. Holy crap those are fantastic! Looking back, I’ve taken a paltry few photos this year… I need to remedy that! Aug 3, 2013 at 11:45 pm #74624 Stu HastieMember Stu HastieMemberLove that top shot of yours Jeremy! Great perspective and colour. Looks like you spent some time down here in NZ too 🙂 Aug 5, 2013 at 11:08 am #74631Jack Kos MemberFly fishing is a tiny world, Jeremy. Know the bearded one in your photos well. Love the underwater stuff. Is that a Union City skeleton reel? Zach Aug 14, 2013 at 1:51 pm #74752 John BennettMember John BennettMemberThanks Zach, the past year I’ve concentrated more on hunting than anything else. My editor has said more than once if he sees another grip and grin he’s going to scream :). So have picked up some UW stuff, and a few other things for a roaming studio and have trying to learn all I can about UW. The reel is a Vintage Pfluegar 80 that I picked up to pair with my cane. Nice little unit

Aug 18, 2013 at 10:51 pm #74928Corey Kruitbosch MemberThanks Zach .. Yeah, on the Ranch. What a beautiful place! Is that where you got your nice bow, from the top of the thread? Aug 18, 2013 at 11:06 pm #74929Jeremy Clark MemberJack, I was with Lucas when he and Ariel dropped off some gear last year, I believe it was for a Cuba trip? Small world, indeed! I’ll be headed back through Christchurch in early October. Aug 19, 2013 at 7:06 am #74932Zach Matthews The Itinerant AnglerCorey – That fish came from down on Wood Rd. (or up on Wood Rd.? I’m not sure of the configuration out there). That’s Rene’s son Zach. Ian and Zach and I walked the cliff tops and spotted that one from above; I bailed down the cliffs and got below it and fed it a nymph while Ian conned the shots from up top. It ate on the third drift and Zach (thank God!) slid down the cliff face to help me net it. Those Henry’s Fork fish are so powerful and there’s so much moss in that section. I needed the assist. By the way, how did you get up above that angler for that one shot? Zach Aug 20, 2013 at 2:05 am #74959Corey Kruitbosch MemberZach … All the TroutHunter peeps are great! Sounds like it was a fun fish! Its always cool and more satisfying, imo, to catch a fish with teamwork!  The HF is a fantastic fishery with some really strong, and big,  fish that are tough to land on your own! One of my fav shots from the HF last year … A cool team work moment! 🙂 Prob going to disappoint, but I took the shot looking down from a bridge. 😀 Aug 20, 2013 at 10:11 pm #74967Zach Matthews The Itinerant AnglerThat’s still awesome, Corey.  Did you wind up taking that big trip we talked about in the parking lot that day? Aug 25, 2013 at 5:00 pm #74999Zach Matthews The Itinerant AnglerCorey – You had like a big road trip planned with sponsorship from Patagonia as I recall–or maybe it was just a project? Is that going off? Zach Aug 26, 2013 at 4:27 pm #75026Corey Kruitbosch Member<div class=”d4p-bbp-quote-title”>Zach Matthews wrote:</div>
