    Welcome Greg! I would go with the canoe on the Caney for sure but I am a boat man. Start at the dam and ride to Happy for a good starter trip. That would be an easy first trip and some nice fishing and scenery on the way. Let us know how you do and post any other ? you may have.

    I would definitely use the canoe if you’ve got one.
