    I have been a fan of furled leaders for quite a while because I can roll out the tiniest dry fly on long cast on 7 – 8X tippets.

    Is the whole thing twisting so that you could put a weight at one end and hang the other from a tree and let it all spin out?

    Zack; it is the last two or three feet of the leader [tippet end] that is trying to unfurl itself.
