Hi. I’m new to the board. My name is Greg and I’m from SW MO. I mainly chase trout at Taneycomo and a few other places here in MO. Zach I didn’t catch where you are from? I just viewed the pics from your trip out west. Awesome. My wife and I are planning a trip out there next year.

I lost my post due to the windstorm Katrina is causing here in Knoxville.
I am from Rogers, Arkansas originally and probably fished many of the same waters you fish.

By gear I assume you mean FF gear? I have a variety of fly rods (more than I need). But the two I use the most are a 7.5 ft 4 wt rod I built myself from a forecast blank. The whole thing cost less than $50. On that rod I have a Ross Cimarron #1. I also have a 8.5 ft 5 wt Sage FLI that I’ve only had for a couple of months. It replaced a hand made rod I have had for several years. I have a Cimarron # 2 on this rod.
My wife also fly fishes with me at times. She likes it a lot but is not as obsessed as I am.
GregYes one and the same. I guess I’ll claim her. I’ll get her to join the board. She is also a member of the OC board but at times she gets a little frustrated by what she feels are male chauvanists there. I really like how you have set up this site. Very informative.

Kyle’s right, that is good gear, although I totally understand not wanting all hand-me-downs.
