I’ll be headed to Provo in a couple weeks to do some work, but hope to tack on a day of fishing to the trip. I know we have some Utah guys on this board. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I’m looking something within 2 hours of Provo or Salt Lake. I would love to see a Bonneville Cutthroat, like small streams, like fishing hatches. Is runoff from snowmelt going to be a concern on most drainages in mid-June? Do I get around that in tailwaters like the Lower Provo – or are water releases increased in those sections of water as a result of the runoff?

Thanks for any help! Looking forward to fishing in this beautiful state.

    Jay,
Thanks for the offer. I’ll certainly be back – I had a great time on a variety of water. Here are some images: https://flic.kr/s/aHskes8NEq
