    No been around for a while, building an extension, staff issues at work……and fishing!
    Second trip to Farquhar this year which was better than the last. We had a blast with the guides, drank and sung (sorry to our American cousins who might have trying to sleep -problem with 6 Brits on tour!), caught a fair amount both on the fly, over the edge and at night.
    I was lucky, 3 GTs: 84cm (50lbs) on the fly, 114cm (75lb) on an off shore rig and 90cm (60lb) night fishing. The night one with a long beach caster was a bugger to pull in, 30 odd minutes, sweating like a pig, dragged down the beach….I was ready to chuck it all in, I swear! Could barely pick the think up I was so knackered!

    I’m lucky and off to Cuba on Saturday (with the wife but with a few day fishing) so here’s hoping…..

    I know I have asked this before but how is there an Arkansas Razorbacks connection on top of the far-flung travel, Gerard?

    UofA alumni. FIJI. Left in 1993. Loved Feyetteville, had a blast with plenty of partying on Dixon St. Probably should have done more fishing when I was there. The Angler’s Den on the Square, Duane Hadda’so store in Fort Smith. All very simple back then!
