    I meant to ask Zach this earlier but it slipped my mind.

    I’m looking for a decent WF 6wt line for my Redington Crosswater 5/6wt.

    The one place I always recommend to buy the top dollar equipment is line.

    The SA Mastery Headstart line is a nice, all purpose line for about $35.00.

    Zach, would the GPX be worth paying the extra $20 over the 444 in the long run?

    Yes, although the Headstart Dunfly suggests would be a very good option.

    Here’s the breakdown:

    1) The Mastery lines, including the Headstart, have a dry slickening powder baked into the PVC that SA calls “AST.”
