    I took a new job which will start on August 11. But I am leaving my current job on July 31. This will be one of the only opportunities in my legal career to take a vacation when the billing clock isn’t ticking. (I won’t get paid but hey, credit cards).

    I’m planning to take care of some projects I have been needing to get to, like tiling my master bathroom floor, but I am also going to fish my butt off. Since the job offer came through I’ve been on a creative tear too; I think I’ve written six articles for various magazines in the last week. Really nice.

    Hopefully I’ll have a nice trip report to share in the next couple weeks.

    Good luck at the new job.

    Hopefully the break from work will be awesome – I’d forgo the tiling and just fish everyday.

    Congrats on the new job!! That time between finish and start is very special. I’d venture to say that tiling the master bath sounds like a winter project. Happy Fishing!!
