Thought that some of you would enjoy this: So, I called Robert Szabo (a forum member here and fellow photographer) and then ran into him down at the river, about 20 minutes later. We talked for a bit but with a storm rolling in, decided to get the heck out of there. As we were getting into our separate vehicles, Bob casually tells me to take a look at Parade Magazine, on Sunday.
Now I know that there are a lot of fans of the movie “A River Runs Through It”, here on the forum and that is why I thought some would enjoy this. Not only did ole Bobby boy shoot the cover of Parade Magazine, the rascal shot Robert Redford, for the cover. If that wasn’t enough, Parade then goes and does an interview with Bob Szabo about shooting glass plate photography. http://www.parade.com/news/civil-war/featured/robert-szabo-how-civil-war-photography-works.html
He is out of town for the next couple of weeks but I wanted to congratulate this humble pal and fellow member of the forum here. Heck, I would have been happy to shoot one of the fish, from the movie, but this rascal goes and gets himself hired to photograph the director! 😉 Proud of you man!!!
