Had the pleasure of shooting this Red Tail recently.

Want to test some new settings on my site/host (revamping it), so thought I’d post this up to a) share the image and b) test the settings which allow for 1100px on the widest, but blocks the full res (4500×3500).

    Larger res here http://jbenphotography.ca/p512145254/h78b3995#h78b3995

John I want you to know that almost every time I see a hawk I think about your pictures.

John I want you to know that almost every time I see a hawk I think about your pictures.  The population in the PA/MD area is really exploding as well.  I now see about three on my ride to and from each day.

    Super true.

    Thanks guys.

I love kestrels, I still don’t have any great shots of them though. Too often they are perched on wires and/or at steep angles. Cute little predators with a mean steak. 🙂 Doesn’t help that I do most of my bird shooting in winter when Kestrels are scarce 🙂
