My wife surprised me with a Canon T1i for the holidays.

Hey Mike … There is some info on the Bob Atkins site, link below. I have a couple older non-canon lenses that I use. Initially, I went with the version that will use the electronics and tell you when something is in focus. However, it had issues now and again. I just ended up stripping the electronics off the converter. So, I’d prob just save yourself a couple bucks and skip the electronic versions. 😀

I ended up getting a Zykkor adapter with optical glass, and have just started to play around with it.  It seems well made, and my FD mount lens fit well on my EOS.

Here are a couple of photos with an 35-105mm FD lens at f/3.5.  Although I’ll spend most of my time shooting with my regular EF-S lens, it is fun playing around these lenses.  It will be fun using exploring some of my other FD lenses in the future.

The quality of these photos can be much improved I’m sure…as I’ve got a lot to learn.

Nice … Good to see that old glass put back to use! 😉
