    I recently got to spend a week in Alaska with my son. It is a magical place and one that every fly fisherman and photographer must visit. When I was planning the trip, I asked the manager of the lodge where we were to be staying about a telephoto lens for bears. His response was, “You don’t need a telephoto lens, just bear spray.” He was right.

    Thanks for sharing Michael. I did a father/son trip to AK last month with my son. I’m sure it’s a trip that both of you will never forget!
