David AndersonMember
That, and a case of tennis elbow have kept me off the water most of this year..
The arm started playing up after moving house, and peaked just as my 4 new TCX’s arrived.
I ran out into the yard with one of the 9’s and cast it just long enough to realize it’s about the easiest way to make the situation worse.I managed a few days away with Morsie and suffered through some bass, cod, barra and tuna fishing with the help of a horse bandage and (legal ;)) drugs, but suffered when I got back home.
(wife & baby as much as arm.. 😉 :D)Anyway, it seems to be getting slowly better. ::)

J A Y M O R RMemberBeautiful portrait David.  Fantastic image. I love B&W.  This year I decided to put more emphasis into my portrait work and stay consistent with business.  While I love fly fishing photography, it doesn’t always bring in money 😉
A fun session from last evening.

I heard that.
Mind, there’s not much coin in photographing your own kids, but it does make the wife happy.Happy wife, happy life.. 😉
Nice shot BTW Jay.

MemberReally nice stuff Jay.
I’m like you, though have been adding boudoir to my repertoire, for exactly the same reason.

MemberLovely portrait of Audrey Dave…….
Here is one from the other end of the spectrum. Nat Gedero is descended from Vikings (not obvious is it) and is a commercial cray fisherman who also loves his fly fishing. The pic was taken at around 30 knots, one handed so its not quite as sharp as I hoped but it was the only way to get the sweep of the beard and to catch the moment.  😀 ;D

InactiveDavid…a day spent with her is a hundred times better than any spent on the water. Â Great photo.
Here’s who kept me busy tonight. Â Not a good photo…oh well. (speaking which…why in the hell does this photo show up so pixelated…when it wasnt otherwise??)
Morsie…how in the world do you get such vivid color as in the first one of Nat and “the beard”? Â Wow. Â Seriously…gotta be a trick.

MemberTim the only touching up I did was a little sharpening and a little contrast, it was a beautiful late afternoon desert light. This was the same day an hour later with the sun long gone.

And a day later.

These are essentially untouched.

David AndersonMemberMorsie, that’s a hell of a beard, though I’m not sure he’s got the buff or crocks to match.. 😉 😀
Great shots – love the light.Tim, did you lighten that shot ?
It can give you noise (grain) on backlit shots. It’s very nice just the same.

You can view a few more at http://www.flickr.com/jaymorr  😉  I wouldn’t mind the boudoir either  😀
I’ll defer to Zach in this case – I have a set of 5 shots, but they wouldn’t be safe for work – necessarily – so should ask before posting a url.
