I was out fishing earlier this week, with a new fishing friend who had a few Tenkara rods.  He let me borrow one and I even caught a nice brown trout, and had another one but it broke off.

It was getting late and and my friend stepped into this sliver of light.
    What are your thoughts?
    Thanks!

Wow, they really have and olde worlde feele don’t they ?

It’s hard to point faults out on shots like that because they’re so much about feel, but I think the water around the anglers legs needs to be lightened up a bit on the print.
The U shape of the dark vignette bothers me a bit.

That said, the feel in general is beautiful.

On a side note, I have a Tenkara rod to try as well – very interesting.. 😉

A picture is thousand words that takes less than a second while a thousand words is a picture that takes a month.

    Hi

Diana/Holga/etc stuff has such a unique look that is so engaging compared to the rather clinical more tech controled stuff that makes it always interesting to see .

Only crit might be that unless you had told me- I would never have twigged that the subject was Tenkara fishing.
