    Just got back home from photographing out in Mongolia – fishing for taimen and lenok. Can’t get over what a special place it is for fly fishing. One of those times when the fish become merely a part of the overall experience. Far too many photos to edit down and process now, but here’s a few for starters. I will get a gallery of more pix up on my website in due course. A truly special trip….

    Grant – I use the Singh Ray LB Polarizing filters. They are expensive but awesome………and then just hope for decent conditions and be ready to shoot like crazy when the light goes insane or the fishing starts happening. Kinda hectic but fun.

    Thanks so much for taking a look – the only reason I can go on trips like these is because it is work for me. Not quite sure how it has come to this, but I love what I do, and I want to do all I can to show these places off in the best light possible. The fact that fishing can put us in such special places I suppose is why a lot of us do it ?

    My sincere thanks for the kind comments. These are just a very quick selection that I grabbed on my first pass through. More in due course, still editing, keywording etc.
