Nikon P6000?

I’m looking for a “do it all” point and shoot if there is such a thing….RAW capability, vibration reduction, manual controls in addition to auto.

Best Buy has it for $419 right now. They also have an interesting promotional photo in their ad.

So long as you are thinking “japanese maple,” then yes, it is exactly what you think it is.   😉

Considering what you are looking for in a camera, it would be worth looking at the D60 (or perhaps D40).  My bride just bought the D60.  It has a nice compact size and is impressive for a relatively light and small camera with good features.

I have a DSLR and am really looking for a compact P&S that will shoot in RAW, VR, etc. Hopefully the camera is small enough to go in a vest pocket. I’m also looking at the Canon G10.
