Don’t have much in the way of free time these days but found enough to work on some B&W’s. These were all taken with a digital body but I am trying to build a portfolio of B&W conversions that have the look and feel of retro body’s, film and paper. Any thought’s or observations? (Model releases and/or permission was granted from all subjects/model’s)

A picture is thousand words that takes less than a second while a thousand words is a picture that takes a month.
some of the vignettes (1, 3) look very digital and not in tune with the contrast levels seen in the rest of the photo. 1,3,4,8,9,10 look very digital to me for different reasons such as contrast, sharpness, lack of grain, midtones, etc.
I’ve been wanting to add more BW to my portfolio and am having a difficult time to really get the contrast and over all look that I got with wet process B&W prints.http://society6.com/grainfarmer Fly Fishing and Landscape open edition Photography prints.
