    Dude, or Dr. Dude,
I am lovin’ it, never seen this before. They appear to be liquid. If you are willing to share the method or what the fly is placed in I am willing to learn.

Awesome stuff! I really like the 1st shot .. makes you pause and look at the fly!

Ooooo Yes!! CLS showed up and the 105mm wanted to dance 😉 Great shots and great application of your equipment. I really like that empty space in your first shot, adds a lot of drama, IMO, great commercial crop as well 🙂

Dude……………..that’s really really cool. I would love a view of the setup you have used for this.

    Neal,

It may not mean much coming from a guy who has never even photographed a fly, but I really like these.

Thanks Y’all.  I will be posting another tutorial soon on how to take better pictures with an entry level DSLR.  I appreciate the interest in this new technique.  It has taken me about 4 months to work out the lighting and white balance and now I’m starting to have fun.

Moving toward my ultimate goal of artistic fashion photography of fly tying.

Really cool Neil.  That first shot is just “wow”!  I also especialy like the Lady Madonna and Frankenslaughter shots as well.
