Very nice Lee.  I can’t wait to see some Muskie footage!  Also, do me a favor and take a quick clip of that hair fly you tied and let’s see how it performs underwater.

If I had that setup it would be used most often shooting flies underwater.  I can imagine an interactive fly tying series with the fly recipe and high res pictures of the tying steps and then underwater footage of the fly.  Oh wait, Morsie, John Haenke and the Aussie’s are already doing this . . .  😉

So I opted not to purchase the $1000 underwater housing and instead I got a $25 2 gallon fishtank from petco.

The petco tank sounds like a cool DIY solution … I was thinking about building a acrylic box for photography purposes. So, I’m looking forward to seeing your pics!

I’ve thought about doing something similar with one of the hexagon shaped acrylic tanks and mounting a ballhead in the bottom. Should work for the half and half shots…..I’m thinking.

Let us know how it works Lee.
