Guys,
I’m looking for some advice on resources i.e. books, websites, etc. that others have found helpful in the photography learning process.
Take a look at the link below. Another IA member suggested it to me, and it helped greatly. Also, look at some of the books written by Scott Kelby.

When I first started out a few years ago, I found the greatest aid to be photography based forums to be amongst the best . Especially if you can find a forum where there are a number of local/regional
but nothing will help shorten the learnin curve like getting out and shooting with people.
For alot of hobbiest from rank beginner to advanced amateur (where I rank myself) shooting is often a social activity to. I owe alot of what I learned/a, learning to some great amateurs.
One guy Jody Melanson whos website Ive linked here in the past taught me probably 80% of what I know, simply by being able to meet him in the field and shooting wit him. I met became aquainted with him, through forums like this.
