Did a trip up to Northern California, with Mr. Church. Its amazing how many cool and interesting people I have met and fished with from this site. Even with blown out rivers, the place is overwhelmingly beautiful.

Took some pictures while on the trip. 🙂

    Plants were colorful

    Morning mists were super cool.

Fished and saw some stunning rivers.

    We caught a few fish

Awesome as always, Corey. Looks very cold though.

I was in Southern California last weekend myself but didn’t get any fishing in. They are in a very scary drought right now.

Thanks Zach … It really wasn’t very cold, upper 40’s to low 60’s. However, it was very wet for almost the entire week I was there. The rain that we got was the first real rain of the season, and most of the steelhead had not really even moved into the system. I bet its fishing good this week though. 🙂

Tim: No doubt… NorCal is a super special place. Fishing in the Redwoods is a unbelievable experience. Now I just need to get back and catch a fish or two! 😀

Great shots Corey. Looks like an awesome place to spend some time and get into a few fish. We toured Northern California a few times while I was young, but I’d love to go back now and chase some fish there.

    Cool shots Corey.
I love the one of the guy fishing in the rain – you could call it ‘Committed’ !

    Thanks for posting them up..

A picture is thousand words that takes less than a second while a thousand words is a picture that takes a month.
