Camera question!

    Zack,

    To be honest I have been interested in getting into phoyography for a while. Few things have increased this desire; new baby girl on the way and my wife has expressed an interest giving us a common hobby. All good things!!

    We were thinking of taking a class at a local Community College just to get started and provide a starting point.

    My question in regards to the camera is from an article I found on Mid Current, 10 ways to improve your FF photo. You mentioned a Nikon D50, I assume since you wrote this the EVER CHANGING market has yet again, CHANGED!!! I see on Nikons’ site a D40X, D60 and D80, all 3 are with in 120 dollars of each other. I plan on doing more research but I know you and the other folks on this board have vast experience and skills.

    Kalvin…I’ll let the experts around here give you exact models and their opinions on that aspect of your post, but I will say that purchasing a DSLR right before the birth of our daughter was one of the best investments we made.
