    Headed to the river a couple hours after Church Sunday to take advantage of the lack of icebergs. Water temps were about 39 degrees. Got a couple of frisky follows right off the bat, which kept me casting strong in the wind. Right off the bank in some shallower water, I hooked up with this nice fish…not quite 40″.
    Lousy auto timer photos…but that’s fine with me.

    Just curious what state your fishing in…with the super cold weather I can’t imagine finding any open water in Muskie country.
