This is not quite a photography post but it does deal directly with the printing industry which we all have to deal with. I would also like to state that I am not a Green Nazi but I do try to do my part and we are doing more daily just to teach our child. I do not preach enviromentalism… but my family is doing a little more each day and trying to live better.

We had a great meeting this morning about “Going GREEN”. Some of you have seen some of my post about by boss and his great exploits. Now he wants to dive into the GREEN movement with his company because he thinks he can sell more paper if he runs a green company. (almost an exact quote).

He said that we need to revisit all this because he wants to know how much the list of what we have come up with so far is going to cost him. He also has to find out a little more about recycling that he doesnt understand.

Kevin, thanks for the laugh this morning.

You could create a proposal that would prove Two Year ROI for him based upon annual savings in a travel reduction. IE calculate the cost of him buying a hybrid and forgo his fuel consumption on an annual basis for his 4 wheel play toys.

I’ll post it when it’s done. On the back of each page I plan on putting the instructions on how to make a paper airplane… dotted lines for the foldes. Just so it can be used ONE MORE TIME.

I work for a printer up the road from you in Dalton. We seperate our trash, from recycleable paper and plastic. I think it actually saves money on our garbage service. Our clients are pretty green as well. They don’t want use putting their flooring products in the landfill if possible. Its the right thing to do!
