I purchased a used Lowepro Dryzone 200 pack a couple of years ago and noticed the new DZ packs come with a small tube of lubricant (for the waterproof rubber zipper). Of course I didn’t get the lubricant with mine. Does anyone know what the lubricant is? Silicone, baby oil, vaseline…….I dunno?

    Any advice appreciated.

my Patagonia bag came with a tube of “zip tech zipper lubricant” made by Aquaseal.

I had one of the dryzone bags also, I wouldn’t recommend using anything that is petroleum based on it. You could actually give it a little shot of PAM cooking spray if needed.

Carter / John……..I just ordered the zip tech zipper lubricant that Carter mentioned (NRS has it). I’m a little nervous about using a cooking product (grizzlies/Alaska) although it would probably work……………Thanks for the tips!
