    Thanks for the info David. I just bought my copy, and I am still trying to learn the program. I have been waiting for the new 2.0 manual to release, which it did last week I think. Are these manuals worth the time and money?

    The pdf manual that comes with Aperture is very good. I don’t have first hand experience with any books and I don’t know if any address the new features in the latest versions.

    Thanks again David. After I read what you first posted, I had to ring up tech support. I bought the academic version of Aperture, and I was scared I was not going to be able to get the new features because I tried to save some money. good thing for me they termed this one an “update” vs. “upgrade.” It being Friday, and new software waiting for me at home, I think I feel a slight sickness coming on which might require me to leave the office suddenly!
