    Last night I was going through the photos I shot the other night (again at midnight instead of going to bed early so I could get up in the morning to go jogging).

    I like these better than the first two I posted. These have a different feel to them than the other ones. The first two I posted, here, had a scientific or industrial feel as Eric DeWitt stated. I think these are the the shots I had in mind when I started shooting.

    Do you think these work well as photo illustration? Is a mood or feeling communicated?

    I love them – they feel origional. Not the same old fly pasted up againste a primary color backdrop.

    Thanks for the comments. These are some of the first salt water flies I’ve tied up, definitely not as meticulous as Asian tied flies. The eyes were pre-painted, so the quality control for that company was low I guess. I don’t mind it, they should still work the same.
