Tried something different this weekend……People ;D
Fri/Sat and Sun found me in a field at first light stalking White Tails during the Golden Hour. By 8:00am I was off to loca tribs to experiment and get some practice in on PeopleSteelheading, in an effort to get a feel for what might work and what might not for the coming season.
White Tails at fist light. ISOs 800 to 1,000 mostly
Once the sun was up I was off to local tribs to shoot some Winter Steelheaders.
Thoughts welcome, its a learning process. Shooting people is sort of new and Im trying to avoid cliche “lift and grins” 🙂
Hey…No Pinheads allowed on this board! ;D Ok Ok…I know you Canuks cant help yourselves with the Center Pin rigs…they are lethal…but certainly dont require much skill. Tell the kid in the 2nd steelhead pic that his mono is wrapped around the rod just below his first guide!
Its also refreshing to see that your steelhead rivers can be just as jammed as our are stateside.
also…nice deer shots, especially the first. I am almost to the point where I dont open up any of your threads anymore because it makes me want to go throw my camera in the river outside my office.
