Any suggestions? I am not looking for an anthology, just something to remind me of the basic facts I lost over the years since my time with film. I need to be re-educated on ISO, F-stops, etc., etc., and how all of this plays into the digital world would be helpful as well.
    thanks guys,

I mentioned this book in another thread recently. Of all the books I own it is by far the best and despite having read it cover to cover and digesting all the information numerous times, I still refer to specific chapters on occassion. Say if I’m shooting a brook in a forest with alot of greens.

    I can’t recomend it enough.

    Bryan Petersons “Understanding Exposure”.

    I concur on John’s choice.

Make that a trifecta on Peterson’s.

It covered alot of basics at the beginning but I found some of the later stuff REALLY helpful.  Lots of good little tricks and tips in it.

I read it twice cover to cover as soon as I got it.

Havent been able to employ any of the ideas in the field worth a damn but the concepts really make sense.

Thanks guys. I found the book, but I am waiting to order until Apple releases the Aperture 2.0 manual. That is unless any of you have found one pre-release???
