Tim, I don’t think it is bad that you don’t like HDR. There is plenty of art that I don’t like, some is considered masterpieces by many. We all like and dislike what we like and dislike. While I think I have seen some HDR that I don’t think was necessary or added much, I believe it is up to the photographer/artist to do what they feel comfortable with. When it comes to art, you are free to do whatever you like IMO. Competitions and photo-journalism are a different matter. There you must abide by whatever rules govern both.

Tim I with you on HDR! I I’ve used and it has a look that I don’t like its just out of key somehow.
I have seen pictures where different element were combined and the rendering was more to my liking.
