The Itinerant AnglerEMAIL ME! ZachMatthews@gmail.com. Some things definitely got screwed up in the transfer.
If you can’t log in with your old user name, try your old display name. For example, for me the new log in would be “zach matthews” with the space in the middle (lower case just to be safe).
For whatever reason the board imported added “imported_” to the front of everyone’s email address. Please update that when you have time in your profile field. In the mean time, if you can’t figure out your old display name, use your email address with imported_ in front of it. So mine would be imported_zachmatthews@gmail.com.
Again, once you are logged in, you can update your profile and straighten it all out.
Again, any problems, email me.

MemberI have no trouble logging in but it seems slow to me. On an old laptop (XP) and a new desktop (Windows 8).
I have the time to wait but it is noticeable.

The Itinerant AnglerHey John –
It may be slightly slower. We’re querying a database now as opposed to a flat file system. The advantage here is that the board is going to be much more stable and should basically be unhackable going forward. We’re in the main stream in terms of software now instead of using an old jalopy that I kept having to cobble back together.
I will get with my host and see if I can speed up the querying somewhat.
Thanks for the feedback,

MemberZack, it is not a problem for me. I mentioned it only in case it was a symptom of something. It is all beyond me and I am glad I get to see it from this side.

The Itinerant AnglerJohn –
See my post this morning; there was an issue and I was able to get it resolved. We should have at least comparable speeds to the old board now.

I noticed the difference as soon as I checked in. Seems to scream now.

T. WilesMemberHey Zach,
Just wanted to see what you recommend to have the site run more harmonious with an iPhone 5?
The site appears jumbled and the photos do not seam together with the posts.
I have not subscribed to Tapatalk…just didn’t want to buy it.
Most other forums work trouble free on the iPhone, and that’s how I do most of my browsing.
Thoughts?Travis

The Itinerant AnglerTravis –
I’ve been working on the mobile version but I’m at the mercy of the volunteers who write this software for a working solution. I am probably going to have to have the board detect mobile browsers and point to an entirely different theme, which I’ll need to customize myself. They need to get with the program on mobile.
In the mean time if you hold the phone horizontally you can usually get enough layout space to navigate.
