Maybe woman’s best friend? I noticed that the “Too cold to fish thread” ended with us all talking about and posting pictures of our dogs. So, I though I’d start a thread specifically for showcasing our dogs – working dogs and pets alike, jpavoncello. 🙂 Zach wanted to turn Mae into a hunter, but, alas, she’s a little gun shy. I’m not sure he’s given up on her entirely, but in the mean time, she sure makes a good pet. I’ve included the latest shot of her. I think it’s cute, but Zach’s a little skeptical.
So, go ahead and add your dog to the list. You know you want to. 😉
K-9 “Ice” on a day out of the office…fly fishing in N.C. He is very attentive to rising trout and will just stand in the water staring at the rise forms. Once a trout is hooked though it is quite a sight…he tries to dive after the trout on the line…while attached to my wading belt with a leash.
Uh, Cam, what is in the 5 gallon buckets and, uh, why does that look like your living room carpet?

This is Rangerdotcom. On behalf of my wife I will say he is a Corgy mix. On his behalf I will say he is just a great little dog. A happy dog.

That’s Ghillie in the back of the boat. He’s a 3 1/2 year old Golden who goes pretty much everywhere with my wife and me.
This is a picture of my dogs Riley and Sally. The picture was taken one day when I was fishing up the North Fork. I was making them stay on the bank while I fished and turned around to see them in this perfect pose. We have since lost Sally (the black lab) to cancer. 🙁
Here is another picture of my two beasts after a hard day of fun. Sally was not posed to look that way either. She would sometimes stretch and end up in these weird positions.
