Spent about five hours Saturday afternoon hiking through the Allegheny National Forest in north western Pennsylvania. Caught lots of small brook trout. The two photos are of brookies that are definitely not normal. The first was over 12 inches, the second was about 10 caught from the same deep pool with a cutback bank. Most fish caught were of the 4- to 6-inch variety.
