New Abel Super 5 Series Large Arbor Reel with standard Arbor Spare Spool with custom engraving “Troutward Bound” Retails $500 Selling for $450 includes Extra Spool
I am selling this reel for a friend of mine looking to finance a trip out west!
This is a New Abel Super 5 Series Large Arbor Reel with standard Arbor Spare Spool with custom engraving “Troutward Bound”. It has a rosewood handle and a black matte finish
This reel has never been fished. At Most it has been in the hand a few times. No scratches or dings or anything. Looks brand new! Backing was put on the Large Arbor Spool and The standard arbor spool has nothing on it.
•2010 marks the 11th year Abel has made Large Arbor Super Series Reels.
•Reel frame, spool, drag knob and foot are 6061-T651 cold finished aerospace grade aluminum.
•Teflon sealed bearings are ISO9001:2000 and AS9100 Certified FAA TSO C149 Aircraft Bearings.
•Cork Drag System is made entirely in our factory. We use a superior high grade Portuguese cork with a little neat’s-foot oil on it.
•FlexABELity: Interchange both Large Arbor and Standard Arbor spools.
•Made in the USA.

My buddy pointed me to this board because there are aome.membera here who.write in some fly fishing publications – which is darn cool. He also mentioned tis Abel because I have developed quite an affinity for Abel Reels. Can you provide me some background on “Troutward Bound?”
