    Given the incipient lack of hackle, does anybody know how to tie this pattern?

    I’m think the deer or elk hair is tied along the side of the hook, or maybe spun and figure-eighted, and then the resulting legs are force into right angles.

    That’s my best guess.

    According to the Benchside reference tie in on top (think comparadun) and then split anf figure-eight into place adn finish with a drop of cement.

    Super Glue isn’t the answer.

    Actually, wasn’t really hard to tie up
