    I’ve been spending some serious time at the tying desk lately, trying to get stocked up for a bonefishing trip in a week.  There will also (supposedly) be lots of trevally around as well.  I’m a rank amateur when it comes to bonefish and trevally, so comments, critiques, and suggestions are very welcome.  

    Mostly tying Gotcha style flies:

    Also loading up with plenty of clousers and charlies:

    Some larger ammunition in the hope that we cross paths with a GT:

    And a few flies that are more of a joke than anything serious…

    Those gotchas look great to me, whole deal really, but I no bonefish. Good luck on the trip though.

    Based on my experience with Bonefish in the keys, which are generally regarded as a bit tougher, I would say choosing wisely as far as your patterns go is key.
