Still hasn’t reached my price point. However, there is no better manual for classic Salmon Fly recipes and/or photography in the world.
I like John Shewey’s book, Spey Flies & Dee Flies for Steelhead & Salmon: Their History and Construction.
Zach, You need to start with Poul Jorgensen’s book Salmon Flies. It’s a great book and the classic. I’ve used it for 20 years and the techniques have also helped my trout fly tying immeasurably. It’s about $35 on Alibris.
