    Im looking to start dying some feathers and hair instead of buying a little of one color and a little of another just to tie a certain pattern. I was wondering what dyes you guys recommend, thanks.

    Hi

    I’ve used the Veniard dyes with a lot of success with doing dubbings/capes etc . One of the major advantages of dying your own is purchasing

    Robert,

    I agree with Will as for using Veniard dyes for getting consistent, quality results.

    Thank you guys for all the information. Where I live there are only a couple fly shops and I have to order most all my tying supplies. Dyeing them opens up a world of possibilities. Thanks again! 🙂

    OK, so these fabric dyes would be what one uses on bucktails as well? Shannon
