Renzetti ratchet?

    I acquired a Presentation Vise in an estate sale. I like the rotary features, design, appearance and function. But I have no idea why the rotation lever ratchets? It isn’t utilized in the “rotary techniques” video I’ve seen.

    Do you use the ratchet function to any good effect?
