    It is razor thin foam I think.

    Use clear Loon Hard Head for your CJ’s.

    Thinskin is a photolith( I think) on a clear backing- one interesting twist is to get foam with an edhesive backing( craft store) and

    Like the others have said it’s a vinyl material. Tried it a few years back for tying wingcasings on stonefly nymphs. The product is okay but not all it’s cracked up to be.

    I second the vote for Loon Hard head. Very handy stuff to have on the bench.

    That Thin Skin crap is quite possibly the worst tying material I have ever spent money on.
