Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I stumbled onto this site some time ago but only recently registered.
Charleston, SC has been where I’ve considered home for nearly the last decade. Mostly a saltwater guy, and what little coldwater fishing I get to do is done in NZ (thanks to my job).
Anyways, I’ve enjoyed what little I’ve seen on the board so far and look forward to seeing more and adding some content.

I fish on the south island when I’m there. I heard about that poor bloke who came cross with the whitey up your way.
Would very much like to see some photos of your NZ fishing grounds.

Help me out with this one…A swimmer was attacked and killed by a shark, supposedly a Great White, off one of Auckland’s west coast beaches the other day.
I’ve really only spent time fishing in Canterbury and Southland regions. I pass through Christchurch each year on my way to work in Antarctica and up until a couple of years ago had only fished within a couple of hours of the city. I’ve since branched out with the help of some friends I’ve met along the way and been fortunate to fish some incredible water!
