I’m looking for an app for inshore saltwater fishing.  Good tide info, maybe boat launch info, moon phase, GPS track etc.   I am intrested in Texas & Louisiana but other US coastal areas would be great.

Anyone have experience with what’s available for iPhone ?

I don’t know of a tide app for the i-phone, but I use Tides4fishing.com for tide information.

U.S. Tides works great for me, but I have a droid.

Austin Canoe and Kayak has an app that show Kayak launches. In my area of lower Alabama that includes the regular boat ramps as well. They have a free version and a paid app. They also have the map on their website.

Tide + is an excellent app but the map doesn’t work for me anymore.

Fish Rules is a great app that shows fish ID, limit, slot size etc. I think it is free until the end of the year.

    I have an Iphone 4s.

FishHead is the best fishing app going – salt or freshwater. It has tides or rivers and includes weather, moon phase, map, flows, temps, etc. Pretty much everything you would ever need fishing. And it’s accurate and up to date.

Check out TideTrac in the app store.
