    Rebel crawdad crankbaits are classic.

    Rebel Tennessee Shad floating minnows are very good.

    I did a float on the French Broad for smallies and managed to do pretty well.

    Tell him to call Davidson River Outfitters in Brevard or Curtis Wright in Asheville to check on conditions.

    I plan on living forever, so far so good.
