Hello all. I’m a new member here on the board. I have to say right off, this is a top notch forum, with an exceptional membership. Even though I’m not new to fly fishing / tying, it’s always fun and exciting to pick up new tips and learn cool patterns to tie.
I cut my fly fishing teeth on a farm pond and neighboring creeks, fished the central TX rivers, got hooked on the salt along the Gulf coast flats, and have come to realize the true wealth of fishing in the TX hill country rivers here. I look forward to spending some time here and hopefully contributing, if even in a small way, to this great community.

Yeah, I’ve seen it in some extremes over the years. Right now, we are enduring a drought, though have had a little rain the last couple of days. It’s getting pretty hard on the fish, though.
