So I spent most of the past month and a half hitting the Hooch 3-4 days a week.

Such is river striper fishing, strikes and gutters. This has been a challenging season since June for me.

We pulled two 30’s and a 20 out of the Cumby during Sat’s downpour. Don’t be so fast to wish away the rain.

Mike the river here is the color of a chocolate meringue pie.

Yea it wasn’t chocolate here but it was very stained after the 3′ in 3 hour rains we had.

Send some of that water west,, Zach. We’re drying up in Colorado, the fish are stressed and the water too warm. Lots of us have put our rods down, or headed for the high country and brookies.

Do a rain dance for Colorado.
