My brother and I are headed to Bozeman in two weeks.

Bozeman is awesome.  Enjoy your trip.  Simms just broke ground on a new factory which is going to have some awesome features for walk-in visitors but it won’t be done yet, obviously.

Try to get to their farmer’s market if it is open.  There’s some great eats to be had there.  Montana Ale Works on the main drag is a nice if upscale bar.  It’s on the east side of Main Street, not far from the dirtbag hotel I usually stay in.

Absolutely have breakfast at Main Street Over Easy–it is one of the best I’ve ever had and that includes France.

I made my first trip to Bozeman/Yellowstone last summer and there hasn’t been a day since that I haven’t thought about it. Be warned…

I second Montana Ale Works. Great selection of beer and food was outstanding. Especially after three days of hard fishing/camping in the park.

Head to Livingston for dinner and a margarita at the Rib & Chop House.

You may want to check for open dates on one of the spring creeks in Paradise Valley. Great way to spend a day or two if you don’t mind a rod fee. Right now it’s cheaper, before the summer season.
