    With NASCAR in town the TVA tailwaters were off limits, so I headed up to the mountains to chase trout.
    I found a good spot to start fishing.
    I caught this one on a prince nymph.
    The fishing was pretty good, with several more trout caught.
    The mountains are slowly starting to green up as spring arrives. multiflora rose is starting to show leaves.

    P.S.    If you have ever wondered how Bristol Motor Speedway celebrates St. Patrick’s Day, they dye the creek at the race track green.

    Why do they dye it green? That seems like an un-environmentally-friendly way of celebrating.

    I am hoping the dye was not non-toxic to fish and other stream life.

    EPA approved dye-same stuff they use to dye beer green
